1. Data Controller and Scope
Uz Makina Teknik Hizmetler Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (the “Company”) is the data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). This notice explains processing associated with our website, technical service and partnership enquiries, and spare part quotation requests.

2. Data and Collection Methods
Forms and email correspondence collect your name, company, email, optional telephone, vessel/equipment details, location and required date or delivery location, enquiry type, message and technical requirement electronically. Spare part enquiries also record the item/stock code and quantity requested. Collection through forms and electronic correspondence uses wholly or partly automated methods. Personal information included in your message forms part of the enquiry.
Hosting infrastructure may process technical records such as IP address, request time and browser/connection information. Session information and identifiers derived from IP addresses are used for form and panel security and rate limiting. Please avoid sending identity documents, health information or other sensitive details unrelated to your request.
3. Purposes and Legal Grounds
- Service and spare part quotations: Assessing requirements and suitability, preparing quotations and responding to requests under KVKK article 5/2(c), where processing is necessary and directly related to entering into or performing a contract.
- Business representatives, general questions and partnerships: Handling enquiries and business communication under the Company’s legitimate interests, subject to your fundamental rights and freedoms, pursuant to article 5/2(f).
- Website, form and panel security: Preventing unauthorised access and abuse under legitimate interests pursuant to article 5/2(f).
- Protection of rights: Necessary use and retention of records in disputes or legal applications for establishing, exercising or protecting a right under article 5/2(e).
Submitting a form does not subscribe you to advertising or a newsletter. This is an information notice, not a consent request.
4. Recipients and Reasons for Disclosure
Hosting, storage, business email and IT providers may process data necessary to receive, retain and respond to enquiries and secure the systems while providing their services. Necessary records may also be shared with legal advisers for legal matters and with competent public authorities or courts in response to lawful requests.
When Google Maps loads on our contact page, your browser connects to Google. Google may process IP addresses and browser/connection information, including through infrastructure outside Türkiye. 5. Retention and Deletion
Enquiries and correspondence are retained for as long as necessary to assess the request and conduct the business relationship, and where applicable for legal retention requirements or disputes. Security records are limited to the period needed for their security purpose. When processing grounds cease, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised, subject to applicable retention obligations.
6. Your Rights and Applications
Under KVKK article 11, you have the following rights:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information if it is.
- Learn the purposes of processing and whether data is used in accordance with those purposes.
- Know the third parties receiving your data in Türkiye or abroad.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Request deletion or destruction under the applicable legal conditions.
- Request that correction, deletion and destruction are notified to the recipients.
- Object to adverse outcomes based solely on automated analysis.
- Request compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You may also write to info@uzmakina.com.tr from an email address previously provided to and recorded by the Company. Include your request and the identity/contact information required by the applicable rules. Applications are resolved as soon as possible, within 30 days at the latest.
